ICP (Ideal Customer Profile)

Your ideal customer profile is the precise description of the accounts worth reaching. It captures the firmographics, the buying triggers, and the fit signals that make a company likely to buy from you rather than merely reply.
An ICP is not a persona. A persona describes a person; an ICP describes an account. Good outbound starts from the account, then finds the right people inside it.
Why it comes first
Everything downstream depends on the ICP. The list, the message, and the qualification bar are all built against it. Get the ICP wrong and you will run a busy pipeline full of meetings that never had a chance. That is why lead generation begins here.
